N1584 Cropped Cardigan 12Ply Mohair Knitting Pattern

Knitting Pattern for a cropped, oversized fluffy Cardigan with raglan sleeve shaping and buttoned fronts. Designed for a light as air 12ply silk kid mohair blend yarn to be fashionably chunky and warm without the weight.

Six Adult Sizes (Chest circumference) 76-81 (86-91, 96, 102, 107, 112) cm. 
Finished Measurements (approx. after blocking) 104 (112, 119, 127, 135, 142) cm with Positive Wearing Ease of between 21cm and 30cm included (depending on size).

Yarn thickness: 12Ply Chunky weight. (based on a silk mohair blend yarn with 75m per 25g ball).

Recommended yarns: Sesia Eiffel Kid Mohair & Silk 12Ply

Skill Level: Keen Beginner and Intermediate.

Construction: Knit flat in pieces. Shaping at the underarms, raglan sleeves and neck. Neck, and centre front stitches are picked up and knitted into a band and button band respectively.

Gauge: 14 stitches x 19 rows over stocking stitch using 6mm needles. Take time to wash and block a swatch to ensure your tension matches the pattern to ensure finished measurements and yarn usage are matched.

Materials: Approx. 7 (7, 8, 9, 9, 10) balls of the Sesia Eiffel Kid Mohair & Silk 12Ply.

Needles and Notions:

5mm and 6mm knitting needles or size needed to give correct tension.
Stitch holders.
4 Buttons.
Tapestry Needle to sew seams.
