Knitting Pattern for a Fitted short sleeve V-neck T-shirt top with slight A-line shaping designed for Summer in a cool blend of cotton and/or linen DK 8ply weight yarn.
Type: Knitting Pattern
Seven Adult Sizes (Chest circumference & Finished Measurements (approx. after blocking) 76 (81, 86, 91, 96, 102, 107) cm. Zero Wearing Ease.
Yarn thickness: DK 8Ply weight. (based on a cotton and linen blend machine washable yarn with 125m per 50g ball or similar natural fibre).
Recommended yarns: Katia Linen, or Fibra Natura Papyrus or Principe Real Cotton Linen Silk Blend DK
Skill Level: Intermediate.
Construction: Knit flat in pieces. Shaping at the waist, underarms and neck. Sleeves are inserted by sewing into the armscye.
Gauge: 24 stitches x 32 rows over stocking stitch using 3.75mm needles. Take time to wash and block a swatch to ensure your tension matches the pattern to ensure finished measurements and yarn usage are matched.
Materials: Approx. 500 (625, 625, 625, 750, 750, 750) metres of similar 8Ply cotton, linen, silk or blend of natural fibres.
Needles and Notions:
3.25mm and 3.75mm knitting needles or size needed to give correct tension.
Stitch holders and Markers.
Tapestry Needle to sew seams.
