Product Information
Designed by Brenda Green for the Ashford Double Knit / 8ply weight yarn, this pattern is for two Adult sized knitted accessories, a beanie with Moss stitch brim and stocking stitch, with 2 options for instructions to knit flat or worked in the round on either circular needles or double pointed needles, and a matching Scarf, knitted flat.
Moss Stitch Beanie has 2 sizes - Small (54cm head circumference) and Large (59cm head circumference) - which uses just one 100g ball of Ashford DK (200m)
Moss Stitch Scarf is one size and measures 165cm long and 19cm wide after blocking and uses two 100g balls of Ashford DK (400m)
Gauge: 22 stitches and 28 rows for 10cm in Stocking Stitch using a 4mm needle. Use a different sized diameter needle if your gauge differs from that specified.
Needle sizes: 3.25mm x 40cm long circular needle and 4mm x 40cm long circular needle for Beanie. 3.35mm and 4mm straight needles for the scarf, or as required to make gauge.
