Malabrigo Loafers Pattern

How cute are these?  To knit up these thick and oh so soft, just choose your yarn thickness and follow the pattern for your size and embellishment choice!

Materials Used: This pattern uses 2 worsted weight yarns held double and knitted together or 1 strand of bulky weight yarn

Suggested Yarn:  Worsted  weight or 10ply weight Merino wool OR a single strand of Chunky weight yarn. We recommend Malabrigo Worsted and Malabrigo Chunky

Finished Measurements: To fit US sizes Small 6-8, Medium 8-10, Large 10-12

Yarn: 2 skeins Malabrigo Worsted, used doubled throughout (100% merino wool, 3.5 oz, 215 yds.

Meterage approximately: 384 metres for all sizes of Worsted weight or 192 metres of Bulky weight yarn

Gauge: per 10cm square of stockinette stitch (double stranded in Worsted or single strand of Bulky)  blocked. We highly recommend swatching, & washing and blocking swatch before starting the loafers to get gauge, fit and better estimation of yarn.

Small - 16sts on 5mm, Med - 15sts on 5.5mm, Large - 14sts on 6mm circular needles

Suggested Needle Sizes: 5 (5.5, 6) mm to obtain gauge
