K472 Raglan Cardigan & Hat Pattern in 4Ply

Knitted pattern for a Raglan Crdigan & Hat for 4Ply weight wool yarn.

Includes 4 sizes from newborn babies and children to approximately 12 to18 months old.  Knitted in a stocking stitch pattern throughout with a garterstitch neck and ribbed bands. Made in pieces, starting with sleeves which are then placed on hold while the main body is worked then the pieces are joined and raglan is worked. The button and button hole bands are then picked up and worked.a

Sized to fit age, approximately - to fit chest (cm)

• Newborn - 36cm
• 3 months - 41cm
• 6-9 months - 46cm
• 12-18 months - 51cm

Gauge: 28 sts and 36 rows over stocking stitck using 3.25mm needles.
Approx. total yardage:  360 to 1230 metres (based on 175 metres per ball)
Needles sizes: 2.75mm & 3.25mm
Five - six Buttons depending on size
