K459 Checkerboard Texture Jacket, Hat and Booties Pattern in 4Ply

Knitted pattern for set of hat, booties and jacket using a for 4Ply weight wool yarn.

Includes 4 sizes from newborn babies and children to approximately 18 months old.

Knitted in a lace and stocking stitch checkerboard pattern with garterstitch hems, bands and cuffs. The hat has garter stitch brim and the checkerboard stitch pattern overall.  The jacket is made in one piece from bottom up to the underarm then the front and backs are divided and worked separately in pieces. The Neckband is picked up and knitted and the sleeves are seamed and along the edge and bands of the hat. 

Sized to fit age, approximately - to fit chest (cm)

• Newborn - 36cm
• 3 months - 41cm
• 6-9 months - 46cm
• 12-18 months - 51cm

Gauge: 28 sts and 36 rows over stocking stitck using 3.25mm needles.
Approx. total yardage:  540 to 900 metres (based on 178 metres per ball)
