This is a very simple modern sweater, with a very wide body and skinny sleeves. Knitted with a 4ply / fingering weight wool yarn at a loose gauge, it is very flattering, drapey and stylish! A little short row section in the shoulders adds an interesting texture to the sleeves.
Construction Options: Directions are given to make a seamless version (worked in the round) or a seamed version (worked back and forth) of the body. The sleeves and the neckband are worked seamlessly in the round in both versions.
Sizes: 28/30, (32/34, 36/38, 40/42, 44/46, 48/50, 52/54) inches.
Body circumference: 160 (170, 170, 170, 190, 190, 190) cm
Sleeve circumference at elbow: 25 (26½, 29, 29, 30½, 33, 34½) cm
Sleeve length from elbow to cuff: 15 cm
Length from shoulder to bottom: 53½ (54, 55½, 60½, 61½, 65, 66½) cm
Note on sizing: This sweater can fit a big range of sizes. The biggest difference among the different sizes is the sleeve circumference. Also, I designed this sweater to be a little bit cropped. You can easily add some inches to the body section to make it longer.
