This pattern was developed as an original pattern by Michelle Stewart for The Woven

Named Bang Bang for the way she floats and swishes off each arm when you walk, it was love at first outing.

The neck is knit in a contrasting shade of Sumptuous, which is heavenly warm and soft. You can wear it a number of different ways to suit your personal style, and give this piece a new look.  If you don’t fancy a cowl neck, just order the kit without it.

The featured colourway shows the body in Glacial and the neck in Rain.

We recommend this pattern as developing beginner, suitable for the knitter who can knit, purl, cast on and off, and is happy following a pattern. It is knit flat on circular needles. This is a larger project.

Recommended Yarn and Needle requirements:

  • 7 x balls of Sumptuous 75gm,
  • 6 balls in the main colour and 1 ball in contrast for the cowl. See the other colour options here.
  • 6.5mm fixed or interchangeable needles with both a 60cm cable, and a 80/100cm cable.

Also available as a kit - with (add ChiaoGoo/Addi/KnitPro options) or without needles RRP $150
