Kit for a beautiful knitted colourwork Cowl and Mittens using the hand dyed semi solid colours of Fyberspates Tarma Aran yarn - made from 60% Highland Wool and 40% Superfine Alpaca.
Arfordir Cowl is knitted in the round. It uses a tubular cast on, but you can use a different method that’s stretchy. The colourwork effect is done using slipped stitches, so its very simple to make.

Arfordir Mittens are simple colourful mitts, with 2 sizes, knitted in this Aran, featuring slipped stitches and a stretchy tubular cast on and bind off, are lovely and warm for winter and accompany the Arfordir Cowl. You want 3 different colours for this pattern.

Gauge: 20 sts and 38 rounds to 10cm over slip-stitch pattern after blocking
20 sts and 24 rounds to 1x1 rib after blocking
Needles: 4.5mm 40cm circular needles or set of dpns unless using magic loop method (use 4.5mm 100cm)
Yardage: 65 metres per 50 gram ball
Care: Handwash, Dry Flat. Blocked.
