Light as air, soft as silk; Aki Cardigan is as dreamy to knit as it is to wear. Simple top-down raglan construction makes this a perfect first garment to knit. Wear this open-front, cropped cardigan over a summer frock to take you through to the cooler months. Inspired by beautiful simplicity of Japanese style, Aki features softly puffed 3/4 length sleeves while the twisted ribbing adds sophistication to this beauty. Two strands of lace weight yarn are held together throughout, creating the ultimate in luxe texture that you’ll want to keep stroking as you knit.

Materials Used: This pattern uses 2 lace weight yarns held double and knitted together or equivalent of 4ply fingering weight yarn

Suggested Yarn: Lace weight or Fingering / 4ply weight merino, silk or alpaca blends. We recommend Malabrigo Lace, Malabrigo Baby Silkpaca Lace, Rowan Kidsilk Haze, Shibui Knits Lunar and Shibui Knits Silk Cloud.
