3212 Baby Eyelet Cardigan 4ply Pattern

This knitting pattern is for a pretty cardigan with all over lace patterning for newborn babies through to 24 months (2 years) which is designed in a fingering/ 4ply weight wool yarn preferably with either alpaca, merino or silk.

It requires intermediate knitting skills because of the lace pattern, picking up stitches for bands as sewing up the pieces.

Five sizes: newborn to 24 months.
To fit underarm (approx): 35 - 40 - 45 - 50 - 55cm
Actual measurement  (Chest): 42 - 47 - 53 - 59 - 64cm
Length (approx): 22 - 26 - 30 - 34 - 39cm
Sleeve length (approx): 12 - 13 - 16 - 19 - 23cm

Yarn required ( approx.) 2 - 3 - 3 - 4 - 5 balls approximately 170 metres per ball. 

Please note that any alterations to the pattern may require extra yarn than stated. All measurements are approximate.

Gauge/Tension: 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square of stocking stitch using 3.25mm needle.

Needles & Notions: 3.25mm and 2.75 mm needles (or as needed to make the correct gauge), wool needle to sew seams, stitch holders, 4 buttons
