Product Information
This practical cardigan has a a zig zag textured stitch pattern and is designed in a worsted/ 10ply weight yarn, Inca Spun Tweed Worsted 50g.
It is knitted and has a shawl collar and front button bands and patch pockets, which continue the zig zag pattern but, of course, are optional.
It requires average to intermediate knitting skills as it is seamed, has a 20 row pattern and has bands which need picking up and knitting on.
Five sizes (approx.): 2 (4, 6, 8 and 10) years
To fit chest 55 (60, 65, 70, 75)cm
Finished measurements around chest: 61 (67, 72, 78, 83)cm
Length: 40 (44, 48, 52, 56)cm
Sleeve Length: 23 (28, 33, 38, 40)cm
Quantity of Yarn required (based on Inca Spun Tweed Worsted 50g. with 100m per 50g ball): 5 (6, 7, 8, 9) balls. Please note that any alterations to the pattern may require extra yarn than stated. All measurements are approximate.
Gauge/Tension: 19 stitches and 26 rows to 10cm square swatch in stocking stitch using 4.5mm needles.
Needles & Notions: 4mm and 4.5mm straight needles (or size needed to get tension gauge), yarn needle and 5 buttons.
