Product Information
Paisley is a ladies sweater available in two versions, from the archives of Rowan Designer, Kim Hargreaves.
The polo neck version uses Felted Tweed (wool, alpaca and viscose) and the deep scoop neck version uses Kidsilk Haze (mohair and silk) held double. Set-in sleeves and knitted in pieces and seamed using backstitch or mattress stitch.
This pattern is suitable for the enthusiastic beginner or intermediate knitter. Five sizes available from chest measurements 81cm to 102cm.
Designed for Rowan in Rowan Felted Tweed or any suitable double knit / 8 ply yarn that knits to a gauge 23 sts x 32 rows to 10cm stocking stitch swatch using 3.75mm needles.
Note that the Rowan Kidsilk Haze option is for 2 strands held together as one to get the gauge.
Also requires a 3.25mm knitting needle for bands.
