Product Information

100% Merino - Nube is Spanish for Cloud

Spinners asked and Malabrigo listened! Their ultra-soft merino is available as unspun top, in a selection of the most beloved Malabrigo colourways. It is truly a joy to spin, full of fluff and loft and unmatched softness! Of course, you can also knit with the roving itself for a uniquely fluffy effect, or use it for thrums or needle felting.

Fibre: 100% fine Merino wool
Fineness:  18.5 micron. The number could change depending on the market at the moment they buy it. + / - 0.5.
Hank weight: 113 grams per bundle
Meterage (approx.) 4.6 metres (5 yards)
Care: Handwash only, cold water, dry flat.

Great for Spinning, thrums, needle-felting, wet-felting, accessories, weaving, other arts and crafts projects.

Be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project since each bag is a different dye lot, and skeins may vary from bag to bag. The skeins may vary one from the other even within the same bag.

For Knitters: try these mittens  - Pattern for harlot thrummed mittens on Ravelry

Dyelot Batches: Like all Malabrigo yarns, Nube is kettle-dyed in small batches of 4 bundles by artisan dyers and is full of subtle variation and beauty. We suggest buying enough in the same dyelot batch to complete your project as skeins may vary from bag to bag hence the separate dyelot listings. To ensure random color distribution, work from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball.
