Lacy short sleeved cardigan knitting pattern designed for Fusion Sulco 3ply yarn - a soft blend of tencel and fine llama by Alpaca Yarns. Just the thing for throwing on this Summer for a BBQ or casual occasion.
Mid length and attached with a single button at the neck, this cardigan has feminine shaping, a gently scooped neckline which is tidily finished with a garter stitch border around the edges to stop rolling. The fine lace is a 6 row pattern which looks more complex than it actually is. This pattern is made flat in pieces and these are then joined by sewing seams.
Tension: 23 stitches and 36 rows to 10cm lace pattern swatch using 4mm needles.
Measurements: Sized to fit bust: Small 85cm / Medium 95cm / Large 105cm / X-Large 122cm
Length (approx): 60 (61; 62; 63) cm
Sleeve length (approx): 10 (12; 12; 14) cm
Yardage: Depending on size chosen, between 6 and 9 skeins total of Fusion Sulco
Needles: 3.25mm and 4mm or size needed to get tension/gauge.
Also requires: 2 stitch holders, 3.25mm crochet hook for buttonloop, 1 button and wool needle for sewing up.
Suitable for intermediate knitters.
