Spring 2017 Newsletter

Welcome to the Spring newsletter!

Well, we've just passed the first 6 months' mark owning Knitnstitch. I think it’s been a celebration of the best of the old with the excitement of some new possibilities.

Knitnstitch has gone from strength to strength with great products such as Malabrigo, Jo Sharp, Erika Knight, Outlaw Yarn and other high quality NZ yarns. And we've become known amongst makers for supplying those amazing ChiaoGoo, KnitPro and Addi needles and accessories. It's clear you love these great products, but also that you are always looking for a little bit of the new and exciting too. So we've endeavoured to continue that legacy by expanding the range of Malabrigo colours and fibres as well as seeking out new additions across the store. I hope you enjoy these new additions.

Some highlights for us over the first 6 months have been Woolfest (aka trial by fire) ably wrangled and nurtured by Margaret May and Lara Nettle and also Knit August Nights in Napier - thanks to the absolutely marvellous Maree Buske on that incredible event.

I'd like to send my sincere gratitude to all the customers who have given me great feedback and support through this settling in period. It’s been such a great pleasure to meet and work with you through your projects and creative aspirations. I hope you’ve taken away some sparks of inspiration from your visits to the website or the Mt Albert studio.

I’ve also had great support (and patience!) from my many suppliers, Mariana, Deborah Moore, Brad, Lyn and Christine, Patty and others – no disrespect if I haven’t mentioned you – you’re all fabulous!
